El Dr. Enrico Macías se especializó en Cardiología Intervencionista en Madrid, España, en el Hospital Clínico San Carlos, con especial interés en la tomografía de coherencia óptica.
Ha participado como instructor y profesor de la técnica en varios hospitales y congresos. Recientemente ha publicado las primeras investigaciones y estudios mexicanos sobre el tema.
